TrueLink had a challenge. Within the highly competitive and close-knit financial industry, TrueLink needed to establish itself as the premier technology vendor for online credit reports. Their competition? Technology development shops with less credit-specific expertise.
I differentiated TrueLink, and its consumer website TrueCredit.com, by introducing a unique image that utilized fresh design elements, tempered with traditional sensibilities. The redesigned TrueCredit.com resulted in an immediate 50% increase in online transaction rates.
The revitalized truelink brand cleared the way for key deals with larger credit bureaus. Both successes combined to help TrueLink reach profitability within six months and the company was ultimately sold to TransUnion in 2002.
