1800 Tequila’s positioning as the “trade-up” tequila was visually reflected online by reducing the number of elements and emphasizing the bottle as hero. Throughout the consumer's visit, the bottle's unique shape is consistently present, reinforcing the strong in-store presence. The previous site did not reflect the premium nature of 1800, so unnecessary music was removed and sophisticated animations were introduced. By including group images of people in all of the vignettes, not focusing on singles or couples, we were able to strike a balance between the brand’s classiness and approachability.
